The featured tour and the four category-best tours on this Site are selected on three criteria:
- Review volume. Higher review counts indicate more verified buyers, which makes the average rating statistically more reliable.
- Average rating. 4.8★ and above is our minimum bar for any featured product.
- Match to the category. The named features in the title and the operator's stated inclusions must match the category description.
We do not select tours based on which one pays the highest commission. All featured products are paid at GetYourGuide's standard partner commission rate.

What we earn (in plain terms)

Editorial independence
